Greiner Packaging is a leading European manufacturer of plastic packaging in the food and nonfood sector. For more than 60 years, the company has enjoyed a reputation for its great expertise in providing solutions in the fields of development, design, production, and decoration. Greiner Packaging addresses the challenges of the market with two business units: Packaging and Assistec. Whereas the former stands for innovative packaging solutions, the second one focuses on the production of customized technical parts. The Greiner Assistec business unit was established in 2006. It originates from the “technical components” production area, which has been part of the company for many years.
Greiner Packaging employs a workforce of almost 4,900 at more than 30 locations in 15 countries around the world. In 2025, the company generated annual sales revenues of EUR 902 million (including joint ventures), which represents more than 45% of Greiner’s total sales.
